Return

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 14; the fourteenth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton.
Ten years ago, she set out on a mission
To bring someone's son, someone's brother back, from a place where he was gone for fulfilling some dreams
Ten years, degree, job, a house and a 4year old son later, her return from this stranger’s land to her country seems like an impossible dream to achieve.

Home

Before marriage, her parents said "This is not your true home. you have to go to your own home one day"
After marriage, whenever she cried, her MIL said "Show these tantrums at your own home and not here"

Finally, she found her "home" at the "shelter for battered women"

PS: This is my first try at the 55-word fiction. I have been reading them on a lot of blogs and wanted to give it a try. The idea for this post came from the title of Nancy's recent post.
